Facial Mesoplasty
The principal cause of evident aging of the skin in exposed areas with the passage of time is loss of water. With the revitalisation achieved through a facial mesoplasty, we are able to return to the face the luminosity, freshness and youth that has been lost over the years.
The technique consists of a series of treatments of considerable effectiveness, on the regions of the face, neck, cleavage and back of the hands, for the purposes of rejuvenating these areas in a harmonious manner.
1st SESSION: The patient’s skin is prepared using gentle chemical peels, which have as their objective the removal of the most superficial layer of skin, the layer most punished by the passage of time, thereby achieving a faster and more effective regeneration of the layers of skin.
2nd SESSION: The application of different substances via infiltration is evaluated. In this section we have substances such as hyaluronic acid of low molecular weight, vitamin complexes, antioxidant substances, dietary minerals, the patient’s own plasma growth factors, etc. The role played by these substances is to nourish the skin and stimulate the formation of elastin fibres and collagen, which with their loss over the years, have left the skin washed out and without elasticity.
3rd SESSION: The need to infiltrate the patient with filler products such as hyaluronic acid will be evaluated, which will help to reduce expression wrinkles on the lower half of the face (cheeks, nasogenian grooves, labial lines, corners of the mouth, chin) and/or with botulinum toxin, which seeks the same effect as the fillers but on the upper half of the face (forehead, base of the nose and crow’s feet).
Hospitalisation is not necessary. It consists, in all cases, of outpatient techniques. They are carried out in the consulting rooms, by prior appointment. Once the treatment has finished, the patient can return home. If necessary, the specialist will indicate any post-treatment care required.
They are not excessively painful techniques. To reduce any possible painful sensation the application of a topical anaesthetic cream or the application of cold tends to be sufficient, immediately before the treatment.
The results are visible in the medium-long term. In the 1st and 2nd sessions the hydration and luminosity of the skin is improved almost immediately, an effect which is intensified as the weeks of treatment go by. In the 3rd session the effects are visible from day 4 post-treatment, given that the effects of the fillers and the tratamiento neuromodulador are immediate. With all this we manage to return to the skin in the treated areas, within a short space of time, a young and luminous appearance which had been progressively lost over the years.
As in many cosmetic medicine treatments, there is nothing definitive. Regular care is required to maintain the optimum quality of the skin we have managed to recover. It is recommended to repeat the peeling and infiltration treatments a couple of times a year, while with filler and tratamiento neuromodulador treatments it tends to be sufficient to retouch them annually. It must be said that in maintenance sessions we no longer start from a situation of such compromised skin, and therefore the improvement we seek is achieved in a faster and simpler manner.
