These cases are more complex than primary surgery and require thorough investigation and planning to achieve good results.<\/p>\n<p>Our experience and training in plastic surgery allows us the benefit of having first-rate skills to offer excellent solutions. Be that from the most aesthetic forms of surgery like mastopexy or breast lift, to the most reconstructive remodelling glandular procedures with flaps or fatty grafts.<\/p>\n<p>The reasons that patients are considering secondary breast surgery and replacing their breast implants are: they are concerned about looking at their implants (44%), the implants are old (43%), they have had complications with surgery (27%), plus others reasons (10%).<\/p>\n<p>We do not have experience in implants beyond 35-40 years old so we do not know for certain what will happen, but we do know that the implants have a limited lifespan. A plastic surgeon will never tell you that an implant will be for life. They will surely have to be changed over time.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;What happens if I decide to operate on my breast a second time to remove my implants?&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1495531657126-3be1a793-b928&#8243;][vc_column_text]Of the patients with implants, 20% are considering removing the implants and not replacing them with new ones, 10% have already done so and 70% have not considered it yet.
